The Alphabet Quiltie Swap on Fabric in Altered Arts 2 is nearing the end. The letter for March is "U". Penny our hostess selected the theme -Umbrella. I found this fabric in my stash and added the geisha embroidery and a butterfly charm. The embroidery design is from Hatched in Africa Designs. They have some lovely oriental designs. I was lunch enough to meet Santi at a workshop at Mulqueens here in Mesa a few years ago. Such a lovely lady. They are based in South Africa.
