I am working on a altered book "Family in Fabric". You can see my first page here. I came across this little book in my vintage pattern collection. It is dated 1929 and presented by The makers of Clark's O.N.T. Threads. Today I am sharing with you the front cover and two pages on Developing a Plain Dress. Click on each photo and you can read the instructions for developing your pattern.
Tomorrow I will post two more pages on how to use your pattern to make "frocks".
Hope you enjoy these pages.

Hi Pam! So glad I found your lovely blog today! I love what you're doing mixing fabric & vintage images--beautiful! I'm a vintage-loving girl, too...makes me happy!
I'm your newest follower & I'll be back often--have a wonderful day!
Gosh, Pam, aren't those pages such treasures and the cover is wonderful. Are you using them in a Scrapbook type altered Family Album? What a fun sewing/quilting album that would make as well. I'll watch for the other pages tomorrow....Sue
