Welcome to Pink Saturday
This week I walked into one of my favorite Goodwill stores and this little adorable bunny was sitting on a shelf just waiting for me to take him home. Isn't he the cutest thing. He is dated 1961. Manufactured by the Arrow Rubber and Plastic Corp. After doing some research, I think the company also made the little rubber dolls of the 50s and 60s. He is in excellent condition. I gave him a nice warm bath.
I just love his eyes. They appear to be glass and in his early life opened and closed. They will now close about halfway when you lay him on his side. I think he may have had eyelashes but they are now gone. The bunny is large. Measuring over 10" tall and 11" long. He was marked $1.99 and I had a 20% off coupon. Total cost $1.59. He is now on display with my other Easter decorations. I simply love thrift store shopping. You find the most interesting items.

Lovely post...Happy Pink Saturday!PS I am having a pink blog giveaway!
What a sweet bunny! Thanks for stopping by my little corner of the world. My birthday was actually Feb 26th but we were in Sri Lanka. My girlfriends here just took me out last week to celebrate -- so I am still posting about both (our trip and my birthday). You've made so many lovely scrapbook layouts. Lots of pretty things. Many blessings! Have a great weekend. :) Tammy
He is as cute as can be. I am happy that he found a good home and just in time for Easter, perfect! Happy Pink Saturday Pam, Char
Hi Pam...what a sweet find at Goodwill. There seems to be lots of Easter goodwill there and at the Salvation Army these days. I've found a couple of older bunnies and two lambs that are pillows. Happy Pink Saturday and good job thrifting.
Hi Pam, happy P.S. Oh I love your sweet bunny, his eyes are mesmerizing..what a treasure and what a buy!

Hi Pam, Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your bunny. Have never seen one that is rubber like dolls were back then, not to mention glass eyes too. You are a good thrifter...
I read back a little on your blog and fell in love with your family in fabric album. How clever is that? My Mom who died at 52, made all my sister's and my clothes and taught us to sew. From age 10 I started making clothes and quilting. Seems we have a lot in common and I will be back often. Can't wait to see more of that album...also loved your Easter album pages.
Don't you just love Goodwill finds???? And you got a good one here!

Hi Pam,
Thank you so much for stopping by and giving me a little lesson on Inchies. I appreciate it so much!
I love this bunny. I had one similar years ago that I bought from Avon, he was a planter and so cute. I'm not sure where he ended up in my moving over the years.
Great find!!
Hugs, Susan
