Happy New Year and Pink Saturday

I am sharing two of the New Year's cards from my vintage card collection.  They are early 1900s.   The top card was printed in Saxony.  The back reads "Publishers by Appointment To Their Majesties the King and Queen Alexandra".  Designed at the studio in England and printed at the Fine Art Works in Saxony.

For other Pink Saturday posts, please visit the hostess Beverly @ How Sweet the Sound.

Best Wishes for a wonderful 2011.

Hi Pam~
I enjoyed visiting your blog. When I (first) went to college, my major was in textiles and clothing and now I am in education as a school counselor. I still am drawn to beautiful fabrics and love to think what they could be transformed into.
Thank you for stopping by and happy pink saturday!

Happy Pink Saturday Pam Sweetie...

I have seen your precious icon around, but somehow have not had the pleasure. Today I found you while going through Pink Saturday posts. I am so tickled. As I see you too are from Arizona. I live in Phoenix. I love your share today.

These cards are so elegant. The first one to have Publishers by appointment to the King and Queen Alexandra in England. Oh my what a find.

The old postcards draw me to them in the antique stores. One of my first stops and sometimes my only. I lose time reading them.

I hope you will stop by and say hi. I am Country Wings in Phoenix. Your newest follower. I love meeting new friends and sharing. I can't wait to see what you share next. I would be honored to have you follow my blog as well.

Many hugs sweet friend and Happy New Year 2011. Country hugs, Sherry

Happy New Year Pam! Your cards are wonderful...fit for a King and Queen...obviously! How neat to have one like that in your collection. I don't dare go there with another collectible, but I do enjoy looking at them, so I'll just enjoy yours, too!

I've so enjoyed our Bloggin' Friendship this year, and look forward to lots more in 2011.
