Altered Puzzle Piece Swap

Mystic Paper in downtown Mesa is having a Altered Puzzle Piece Swap. This is my first try at making an altered puzzle piece. I'm not sure this is the final example. I had purchased a box of large puzzle pieces some time ago at the thrift store. I covered the piece with fabric and then added the embellishments. I used a gold pen to color the edges of the puzzle piece.

What an interesting concept. I have never seen anything like it before but it is really cool!
Thanks so much for taking the time to leave a comment on my blog. I love the hand piecing and do it as much as I can. If I am going to sit and watch TV I have to keep my hands busy and doing these hexagons are a piece of cake. :D

Yours turned out really nice. :)
