Fabric Postcards and Pink Saturday

As I was browsing through my files this week.  I discovered my Fabric Postcards and thought they would make a great Pink Saturday post.  Each of these fabric postcards was mailed through the USPS.  Some I place in a plastic sleeve purchased from Walmart, put a first class stamp on them, and drop in the mailbox.  I do reinforce the edges with clear shipping tape.  I have never had a problem.  If they have thick embellishments, then I put them in a padded envelope and mail at the PO.

Each card above represents a different technique (from top to bottom):  machine embroidery and enclosures;
fused applique silhouette and stamping; needlefelted fibers and angelina;  needlefelted fabric pieces and yarns; and paper piecing and stamping.

I hope you have enjoyed my little "Fabric Postcard" show.  For other Pink Saturday posts visit Beverly at How Sweet the Sound.

How pretty! Perfect for Pink Saturday. I see you ave been in Altered Couture. Do they ever have any home decor stuff or is it just clothes? Would love to find a copy of this magazine. I can't find it. I am writing about this topic next week on my blog. Thanks for stopping by.

Hi Pam, How did I miss so many posts when I've only been away for the past 36 hours ??? This past week has been so busy, going back to school, coming home with brain overload and then just trying to get through my domestic duties. And then this dang bug comes along and really knocks me out! I am better today although not 100%. I love your fabric postcards; your crazy quilt; your teapots in the garden. Hope your hubby is recovering nicely after his procedure. Did you make it up for the 8 am breakfast this morning? As I am typing this, it won't even be 8 am over there yet! You still have many hours to go.

You of all persons will make something fabulous from your jar of scraps. All of your creations are just fabulous.

Have a great weekend. Tammy
