Ruffled Headband

Here is the ruffled flower headband that I made to the match the ruffled skirt in the previous post.  I purchased an inexpensive headband and wrapped it with a piece of the stripe fabric in the skirt.  I then made the ruffle flower and attached it to the headband.  The flower is from Ruffled Flower Pin pattern by The Noble Wife.  The pattern does not call for the button center but I like the idea of a button center.  Now the granddaughter can wear her ruffled skirt and a ruffle flower in her hair.  Hopefully I get a photo some day and share on the blog.

She will definitely by styling with the fun ruffly skirt and matching headband. My mom used to sew clothes for me when I was little but never taught me to sew. I don't remember if she ever tried to and I wasn't interested. Will have to ask. I learned to crochet from my cousin and to cross-stitch from a lady I worked for in high school. I've been so happy to have those as my hobbies all these years. Don't know what I would do with my time otherwise. Have a great weekend. Tammy
