It's Pink Saturday

Little girls in Pink Dresses

For Pink Saturday I am sharing some of my vintage dress patterns.  Each features a little girl's dress in pink. I love the images on these old pattern envelopes.  It's hard to resist then when I see then in the thrift stores.  I have a collection of vintage patterns that my sister and I use in our craft projects.  Our most recent project is our Family in Fabric book.  You can see one of the pages here.  I have compiled the items for three more pages and hope to work on them this weekend.

Thanks to Beverly at How Sweet the Sound for organizing Pink Saturday.  Check her blog for a list of participants in this weeks Pink Saturday.

Good Morning, Pam! :-)

Those are really darling patterns. They remind me so much of my grandmother and the patterns that were in vogue when I was young. Thanks for sharing these with us. Left me with a smile on my face!

Happy Pink Saturday...

Pam thanks for the PS visit. I was looking at your links to your page showing details of the scrapping. I use a regular scrapbook page for this and just layer over it so I don't have to bind the pages together they just hook into the scrapbook. What you are accomplishing here is more advanced as you're making an actual book. I love all the details you used and enjoyed this post very much. Take Care Nan

Hi Pam!

What a fun thing to collect! The drawings are darling and the 4th one is my very very favorite!!
My Mom used to make all our clothes and I remember patterns like that all over the place. She made our Barbie doll clothes too and I wish I still had them! Those patterns are cute too!
Thanks for sharing some of your pretty in pink collection today!
Hugs and Smiles,
Lynn

I love these, too.
I am very..uhhh...OLDEN, *gulp, and my mother always made all of my clothes. We had so many old patterns and I would LOVE to have them now. Am sure a large part of them ended up in the trash basket..:(
